Latest data on the loss of lives and property from various 14 types of disasters in Nepal, covering the period from 14 April 2015 to 31 January 2016, released by the National Emergency Operation Center, Ministry of Home Affairs.
The disasters resulted in the death of 9,143 people, with 39 missing and 22,570 injured. A total of 8,87,591 families were affected. Worth over 67 crore 40 lakh rupees in losses were incurred.
